Special Features

1. "Free Floating" Enclosure Design (Patent Pending)
   Instead of traditionally using screws to tie down LCD panel and enclosure, our engineers developed the "Free Floating" method to hold LCD panel in the correct position without using any screws. With "Free Floating" design, CenTech FPD series panel mount or rackmount Industrial LCD Display provides the best shock and vibration rating in the industry and passed the most severe environmental test - SEISMIC ZONE 4 test (see below)
   
   
2. Passed SEISMIC ZONE 4 Test
   SEISMIC ZONE 4 test is the simulation of the most severe earthquake environment. It is the most critical shock and vibration test.
   
   CenTech FPD series Industrial LCD Monitor is the first industrial LCD display to pass the SEISMIC ZONE 4 test which was subject to 30-SECOND (not mil-second) duration tri-axial multi-frequency random motion, which was amplitutde-controlled in one-sixth octave bandwidths spaced one-sixth octave apart over frequency range of 1 to 100 Hz. Three simultaneous, but independent, random signals were used as excitation to produce phase-incoherent motions in the vertical and two horizontal axes.
   
   CenTech FPD series Industrial LCD Display also passed an aging test which included heat-up and cool down intervals by using Thermal Aging Chambers, in combination with seven additional SEISMIC ZONE 4 tests.
   
   Its excellent noise, shock, and vibration ratings ensure the continuous reliable performance in the toughest plant conditions such as Nuclear Power Plant.

6. Electropolished Stainless Steel
   Electropolishing is often referred to as a "reverse plating" process. Electrochemical in nature, electropolishing uses a combination of rectified current and a blended chemical electrolyte bath to remove flaws from the surface of a metal part.
   
   Beyond the bright, chrome-like finish, many find corrosion resistance to be great benefit of electropolishing.
